Graham Perolls, OBE, CMG, Founder of Hospices of Hope

Graham took over the family car business in 1980 after his father died from cancer at St Christopher’s Hospice in London. This experience led him to found a hospice in his home town of Dartford. Kent, in 1985. Six years later he founded the first hospice charity in Romania and Hospices of Hope, the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the development of palliative and end of life care in South and East Europe. He was awarded an OBE by the Queen in 1999 and CMG in 2014 for his work in developing hospice care internationally.
